LOCATION - Lat 39°53'15.61", long 83°59'30.71" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Clark County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05080001,
REVISIONS HISTORY - A review of this record revealed that the land-surface correction applied to data from this well was in error from June 4, 2009 to April, 2016. The previous land-surface correction was 3.00 feet and a review of site records indicated that the appropriate land-surface correction is 2.27 feet. The site was surveyed with digital GPS in May-June, 2009. This survey determined the land-surface elevation at the well site was 847.81 feet and the measuring point elevation was 850.08 feet, resulting in a land-surface correction of 2.27 feet. All approved continuous and discrete water-level measurements during this period were edited based on the new land-surface correction.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 180 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 140 ft, bottom of last opening 180 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 847.81 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Floor of instrument shelter, 2.27 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 17, 2004 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Periodic water level measurements 2003 to current year. Continuous hourly water level data June 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Hourly water levels are measured by a vented, submersible pressure transducer. Measurements are recorded with a data logger at 60-minute log interval. Data is transmitted via a GOES satellite transmitter.
COOPERATION - Water level measurements and back up electronic data files are provided by the Miami Conservancy District (MCD).
REMARKS - The continuous record is considered good except for periods of missing data due to equipment malfunctions or well maintenance. Beginning in April 2015 water level record appears to be unstable. The record from April to October 2015 is rated poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily low, 3.64 feet below land-surface datum, November 21, 2015; minimum daily low, 2.26 feet above land-surface datum, January 12, 2005.
