LOCATION - Lat 39°56'09", long 74°12'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, South Toms River Boro, Ocean County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040301, about 200 ft east of Double Trouble Rd. on the north side of Jakes Branch.
REVISIONS HISTORY - On 2023-11-20 data from 2011-07-26 22:00 to 2023-09-12 00:00 was unapproved and revised to "data temporarily unavailable" due to information from past integrity testing being reviewed and additional troubleshooting being required. Once issue is resolved data will be reapproved or removed.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 1,146 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening 1,080 ft, bottom of last opening 1,146 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 18.34 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Transfer MP created for migration, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 1, 1965 to Nov. 2, 1978; TOP OF LIP OF PIPE, 1.5 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 1, 1978 to Nov. 2, 1978; FRONT EDGE MAX-MIN RECORDER, 1.7 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 21, 1988 to Oct. 22, 1989; Top of coupling, 2.44 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 25, 1993 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1965 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - The well was pumped on Aug 1, 2011 and Jul 29, 2014. After pumping, the water-level did not return to its previous level. Therefore, the screen may have been partially clogged prior to the pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 24.64 ft below land surface datum, September 1, 2023; lowest, 106.41 ft below land surface datum, Dec 19-20, 1992.
