LOCATION - Lat 40°01'43", long 101°52'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.29, T.1 N., R.40 W., Dundy County, NE, Hydrologic Unit 10250002, 3.5 mi east of Haigler on U.S. Highway 34 and 0.5 mi north. Well is within 0.5 mi of Republican River.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 49 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 3,210 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: MP is the south side of the casing, 1.60 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 30, 1974, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1974 to current year.
REMARKS - Replacement for well 400155101521301, local number 1N 40W 29BB1 with period of record from May 1946 to June 1975. Water levels in well are affected by pumping from nearby irrigation wells, evapotranspiration, and changes in stage of Republican River.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 15.41 feet below land surface datum, June 21, 1984; lowest, 31.67 feet below land surface datum, August 12 and 13, 2002.
