LOCATION - Lat 40°30'05.4", long 80°25'19.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Beaver County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05030101, at Raccoon State Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 101 ft. Upper casing diameter 6.25 in; top of first opening 25 ft, bottom of last opening 101 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 25 ft, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 925 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of casing, 2.0 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 1, 1967 to present; UNKNOWN; TRANSFER MP CREATED FOR MIGRATION, 1.98 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 26, 2014 to present. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 60-minute recording interval since Aug. 23, 2001. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS -

Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.

Records for water year 2019 are considered good. Records for water year 2020 are considered to be good. 

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 6.74 ft below land-surface datum, Sep 17, 18, 2004: lowest, 13.72 ft below land-surface datum, Jun 5, 1968.
