LOCATION - Lat 40°57'56", long 72°17'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Suffolk County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030202, at west side of Widow Gavits Rd, near Toppings Path, east side of Crooked Pond, Bridgehampton.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Groundwater levels for the periods Mar. 17, 2017 to July 24, 2018, and Oct. 2 to 23, 2018, were deleted on Aug. 6, 2021, due to instrumentation errors.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 20 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 10 ft, bottom of last opening 15 ft. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 20 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 0.12 ft below land-surface datum, 19.88 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Mar. 24, 2003 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder installed May 2003; 15-minute recording interval. Periodic manual measurements made by USGS personnel.
REMARKS - Replaced well S8833.1 in May 2003 near same location. Satellite water-level telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 20.12 ft above NGVD of 1929, Apr. 4, May 18, 19, 2010; lowest recorded, 12.74 ft above NGVD of 1929, Dec. 10, 2023.
