LOCATION - Lat 41°01'21", long 81°33'03" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Summit County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040001, in canal feeder gate house control structure at north end of Long Lake channel on west side of State Route 93 (Manchester Road), 0.1 mi south of Lake Nesmith, at Akron. ODNR key is required to open the control structure.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not Determined.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage and acoustic velocity meter recorder. Datum of gage is 960.31 ft (NAVD 1988).
REMARKS -

WY2014: discharge records fair. WY2015: discharge records fair except Jul. 27, 28, 31, Aug 29, 30 of 2015 which are poor due to poor velocity record. Oct. 1, 2015 to Sept. 8, 2016: discharges fair except Oct. 15, 2015 and Dec. 6, 2015. Sept. 9, 2016 to Nov. 29, 2016: discharge record poor. Nov. 29, 2016 to Nov. 7, 2017: discharge records fair. Nov. 8, 2017 to Sep. 29, 2018: discharge record poor. Flow is completely regulated by operation of gates at flow control structure upstream of gage.
