LOCATION - Lat 41°38'03", long 70°32'07" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Barnstable County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, on western shore of Ashumet Pond, about 50 ft south of boat ramp near Falmouth.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Daily mean elevation, June 2002 to current year. Prior to June 2002, monthly or twice-monthly measurements from December 1972 to January 2002 (winter periods not measured; data not published but available in NWIS database only).
GAGE - Water stage recorder with telephone telemeter. Standpipe with siphon-tube connection to Ashumet Pond. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION - Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment.
REMARKS - Records are good. Periods of missing record are not estimated.
