LOCATION - Lat 41°41'29", long 70°36'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Barnstable County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, 50 ft west of County Road and 0.3 mi south of Pocasset Road in Bourne.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 50 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 40 ft, bottom of last opening 50 ft. Prior to August 1990, original observation water-table well at same location, diameter 1.25 in., depth 50 ft, screened 47 to 50 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 55.56 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of well casing, 2.47 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 8, 1962 to Aug. 14, 1990; top of well casing prior to installing recorder shelter, 1.65 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 13, 1990 to May. 18, 2012; Installed shelter and recorder; new MP corr is top of well casing inside shelter, 3.68 ft above land-surface datum, May. 18, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1962 to current year.
GAGE - Digital recorder with telephone telemeter since May 2012; monthly measurement by Cape Cod Commission prior to May 2012.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
