LOCATION - Lat 41°42'09.6", long 91°21'58.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.30, T.80 N., R.4 W., Cedar County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 07080206, at culvert on County Line Road, 150 ft north of intersection with the Hoover Nature Trail, and 1.4 mi north of West Branch.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Precipitation records from April 2015 to January 24, 2017.
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping-bucket rain gage.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2015-2017 rated good except for periods of missing data and days during the winter period, which are poor and may be affected by intermittent snow accumulation and subsequent melting. Records from June 14-22, 2016, and July 12, 2016, to August 8, 2016, rated fair.
