LOCATION - Lat 42°02'04", long 101°20'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.23, T.24 N., R.35 W., Hooker County, NE, Hydrologic Unit 10210001, Approximately 5.2 mi west of Hecla on the south side of State Highway 2.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007: 2005-2006 (Extremes for Period of Record).
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 18 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 15 ft, bottom of last opening 18 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 3,437 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: MP is a mark on the top of the instrument shelf, 1.14 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 8, 1998 to present; Undefined, 2.40 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 7, 2015 to present; top of pipe, 3.00 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 13, 2015 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1998 to July 7, 2015.
REMARKS - The REMARKS statement since 1998 stated "Starting in December 1998, recorder instrument set to and read as depth below measuring point." This statement was inaccurate. The recorder was set to below land surface datum throughout the period of record for this site. Collection of record was discontinued for this site as of July 7, 2015. On this date, collection of record was initiated at the newly established adjacent well site (station 420204101200503).
