LOCATION - Lat 42°28'48", long 88°19'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.8, T.46 N., R.8 E., McHenry County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120006, 58 ft. east of gravel farm road, 59 ft. north of Route 173 (Kenosha St.), 0.7 mi. west of Richmond and Route 12 (Main St.), 1.3 mi. south of Genoa City, and 0.2 mi. southwest of North Branch Nippersink Creek. Owner: McHenry County.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Groundwater levels for the period Oct. 12, 2011, to Dec. 1, 2016, were revised Sept. 2018.
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 844.36 ft NAVD88 on May 30, 2023, as determined by a GNSS Level II survey. Land-surface datum was previously published as 844.15 ft NAVD88 (furnished). Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 30, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 176 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening 171 ft, bottom of last opening 175.5 ft. Well-casing includes 2-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, 6 in. diameter borehole with bentonite seal, observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 844.36 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of PVC Casing; High point marked, 2.11 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 6, 2008 to present.
