LOCATION - Lat 43°11'58", long 100°46'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.8, T.37 N., R.29 W., Todd County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10140203, in field 550 ft south of BIA HWY 5, 5.1 mi southeast of Rosebud, and 7.8 mi northeast of St. Francis.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 263 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 2,823.91 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of well casing, 4.23 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 1, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2012 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.
REMARKS - For Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2023, records good. Satellite data-collection platform at station. Water levels affected by pumping of nearby wells.
