LOCATION - Lat 43°44'00.97", long 121°27'57.49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.19, T.21 S., R.11 E., Deschutes County, OR, Hydrologic Unit 17070302, 4.7 miles north of La Pine, Oregon.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 100 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 69.5 ft, bottom of last opening 100 ft. Drilled domestic well, deepened from 37 ft to 100 ft in 1964, sounded depth of 92.5 ft on Feb. 26, 1998 and 90.5 ft on Oct. 31, 2013. Well unused.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 4,220 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Southside top edge of recorder shelf, 2.42 ft above land-surface datum, May 14, 1999, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1964 to current year. Records for October 1964 to October 1965, published in USGS WSP 1845, February 1966 to October 1970, published in USGS WSP 1980, January 1971 to October 1974, published in USGS WSP 2161. Records for October 1964 to October 1997 are illustrated on a hydrograph in USGS OFR 97-197 and records for October 1985, published in USGS OFR 97-197.
GAGE - Periodic measurements by Oregon Water Resources Department October 1964 to March 1998; Periodic measurements by USGS and Oregon Water Resources Department May 1998 to May 1999; recorder by USGS May 1999 to current year.
REMARKS - State observation well number 118. State well identification DESC 7620. Historical record prior to deepening available in USGS WSP 1845, and illustrated on a hydrograph in USGS OFR 97-197. Entire historical record post-deepening, up to 1999 water year, available in the 1998 Water Data Report (WDR-OR-98-1).
