LOCATION - Lat 44°39'54", long 72°11'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Orleans County, VT, Hydrologic Unit 04150500, at Vermont Highway Department salt shed west of State Highway 16 and 3 mi south of Glover Village. Owner: U.S. Geological Survey.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 82 ft. Upper casing diameter 1.25 in; top of first opening 80 ft, bottom of last opening 82 ft. Augered observation water-table well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,205.08 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 4.0 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 8, 1966 to Oct. 30, 1998; Top of casing, 0.32 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 29, 1998 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1966 to current year. Prior to 1977, published as Glover 1.
GAGE - Electronic water-level recorder with hourly readings. Prior to July 2016, monthly readings were published.
COOPERATION - Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and USGS Groundwater and Streamflow Information Program.
