Water-Year Summary for Site 445446093144301
Continuous precipitation, barometric pressure, relative humidity, solar radiation, air temperature, wind direction, wind speed, wind gust speed, water vapor pressure, internal DCP temperature, and battery voltage are measured with a Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 weather sensor. These data are recorded every 15-minutes from 17 April 2023 at 15:30 CDT to 22 April 2024 at 09:00 CDT by a Campbell Scientific CR310 datalogger. The datalogger is housed in a 12-inch X 14-inch grey fiberglass shelter attached to the side of a light pole. The gage is powered by a 20W solar panel and 12v, 18Ah station battery and is telemetered by GOES satellite telemetry with a Campbell Scientific, Inc. TX325 CS2/v2.0 GOES Satellite Transmitter.
Precipitation, air temperature, and solar radiation were the only datasets that were published for this site.
The Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 and data logger were removed from the site on 22 April 2024 at 09:00 CDT. Data collection for the USGS/UMN Lake Nokomis Urban GW Study have concluded and all data logging equipment has been removed.
Air temperatures were measured with a Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 weather sensor during 17 Apr. 2023 at 15:45 CDT to 22 Apr. 2024 at 09:00 CDT, which were accurate to ±0.6°C. Differences in temperature are accurate to 0.1°C.
Solar radiations (W/m2) (15-minute average) were measured with a Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 weather sensor during 17 Apr. 2023 at 15:30 CDT to 22 Apr. 2024 at 09:00 CDT, which were accurate to ±5%. Stability was <2% per year. Differences in wind solar radiations are accurate to 1 W/m2.
Solar radiations (MJ/m^2) (15-minute total) were measured with a Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 weather sensor during 17 Apr. 2023 at 15:45 CDT to 22 Apr. 2024 at 09:00 CDT. The accuracy of this measurement was not stated in the equipment manual.
Precipitation were measured with a Campbell Scientific ClimaVue50 weather sensor during 17 Apr. 2023 at 15:30 CDT to 22 Apr. 2024 at 09:00 CDT, which were accurate to ±5% from 0-1.97 inch/hr. Differences in precipitation are accurate to 0.0007 inches.
