LOCATION - Lat 45°16'05", long 97°07'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.13, T.121 N., R.52 W., Grant County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10170202, in field 4.0 mi south of Hwy 12 on 454th Ave, 4.7 mi southwest of exit 207 on I-29, and 5.7 mi southeast of Ortley.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 198.1 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 163 ft, bottom of last opening 198.1 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,916.87 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of well casing, 3.8 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 14, 2014 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2014 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.
REMARKS - For June 14, 2014 to Sept. 30, 2018, records good. Satellite data-collection platform at station. Water levels affected by pumping of nearby wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 72.48 ft. below land-surface datum, July 6, 7, 2014. Lowest water level, 91.66 ft. below land-surface datum, Aug. 14, 2016.
