  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

PERIOD OF RECORD -

Gage height and streamflow were measured periodically from Sept. 12, 2019 to 03 Nov. 2021.

Gage height was recorded quarter-hourly from 15 Apr. 2020 at 09:45 CDT to 03 Nov. 2021 at 13:45 CDT, except during the following periods:

30 Oct. 2020 at 13:15 CDT - 29 Mar. 2021 at 13:15 CDT: due to transducer being removed during winter/ice conditions.
19 Jun. 2021 at 10:15 CDT - 20 Jun. 2021 at 10:15 CDT: due to transducer being out-of-water during low-flow conditions.
01 Jul. 2021 at 20:15 CDT - 23 Jul. 2021 at 18:00 CDT: due to transducer being out-of-water during low-flow conditions.
29 Jul. 2021 at 05:00 CDT - 29 Aug. 2021 at 00:30 CDT: due to transducer being out-of-water during low-flow conditions.

GAGE -

This is a discrete WQ sampling and streamflow site.

Continuous water level, water temperature, and battery voltage were measured with a previously-used OTT Orpheus Mini 0-10m pressure transducer. These data were recorded quarter-hourly from 15 Apr. 2020 at 09:45 CDT to 03 Nov. 2021 at 13:45 CDT by the same OTT Orpheus Mini pressure transducer, which had a data logger built into it. The data logger was hung from the top of 4-inch diameter PVC pipe, which is attached to 1-inch diameter PVC pipe that runs into the stream. The pressure transducer was powered by 3 AA lithium batteries that were inside of the data logger communications rod. Data were downloaded manually and no telemetry or phone line was wired into the gage.

On 30 Oct. 2020, the OTT Orpheus Mini pressure transducer was temporarily removed from the site during the winter ice conditions. This is a seasonal stage and water temperature site. The transducer will be redeployed in Spring 2021.

All monitoring equipment was removed from the site on 03 Nov. 2021 at 13:45 CDT. This site has been discontinued for the St. Louis River Peatland Restoration / Mercury (GLRI) study.

COOPERATION - This site was operated (2019-2021) by the U.S. Geological Survey as a discrete water-quality sampling, discrete streamflow, and continuous stage, and continuous water temperature site for the USGS St. Louis River Peatland Restoration / Mercury (GLRI) study. The USGS St. Louis River Peatland Restoration / Mercury (GLRI) study was a collaborative study between the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa (FDL) and the U.S. Geological Survey.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

Discrete water-quality samples were collected periodically from 12 Sept. 2019 to 15 Apr. 2021.

Water temperature was recorded quarter-hourly from 15 Apr. 2020 at 09:45 CDT to 03 Nov. 2021 at 13:45 CDT, except during the following periods:

02 Jul. 2020 at 11:00 CDT - 08 Jul. 2020 at 23:30 CDT: due to internal transducer thermistor being out-of-water during low stage.
30 Oct. 2020 at 13:15 CDT - 29 Mar. 2021 at 13:15 CDT: due to transducer being removed during winter/ice conditions.19 Jun.
04 Sept. 2021 at 18:30 CDT - 07 Sept. 2021 at 18:30 CDT: due to transducer being out-of-water during low-flow conditions.
