GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 180 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 120 ft, bottom of last opening 180 ft. Drilled in August 1981.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 2,040 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of recorder shelter, 1.60 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 14, 1998 to present. Reference point established May 11, 1999: top of steel rod near well casing, 0.15 ft below measuring point.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1982 to August 1992; April 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Routine measurement with steel tape from 1982 to 1992, with calibrated e-tape or steel tape from 1998 to current year. Digital water-level recorder set to record every 6 hours from April 1998 to August 1999. Set to record every 4 hours from August, 1999, to April 2012. Set to record every hour from April 2012 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - April 1998 to current year.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest instantaneous water level, 40.67 ft below land-surface datum, July 26, 2011; lowest instantaneous water level, 44.13 ft below land-surface datum, November 20, 2008.
