50028000 RIO TANAMA NEAR UTUADO, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°18'02.61", long 66°46'58.85" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Utuado Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, on downstream side of left abutment of bridge on State Road 111, 1.2 mi (1.9 km) upstream from natural tunnel, 1.5 mi (2.4 km) northeast of Angeles, and 5.8 mi (9.3 km) northwest of Utuado.
DRAINAGE AREA - 18 mi². (47.0 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Revisions: Discharge for the period Aug 14, 2017, to Feb 20, 2018, was revised on Jul 31, 2018, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

Drainage area revised in 2021 based on ArcHydro 2020, more detailed topo used.

PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1944 to June 1958; daily stage and two to four measurements per month by the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA). November 1959 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 948 ft (289 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929. Elevation of gage was increased by 3.00 ft (0.914 m) on October 1978.

SEDIMENT LOADS: Maximum daily, 240,000 tons (218,000 tonnes) September 22, 1998, minimum daily, <0.01 ton (<0.01 tonne) several days during many years.
