    50031200 RIO GRANDE DE MANATI NEAR MOROVIS, PR
    LOCATION - Lat 18°17'44.57", long 66°24'49.45" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Orocovis Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, on right bank, 0.1 mi (0.2 km) downstream from Quebrada Perchas, 0.8 mi (1.3 km) upstream from Río Sana Muerto, and 2.2 mi (3.5 km) south of Morovis.
    DRAINAGE AREA - 55.2 mi². (143 km2).
    SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
    PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1965 (February 2, 1966 to April 27, 1967, staff gage read twice daily) to September 2017. Discontinued.
    GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 460 ft (140.28 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to September 1995 published at same site but at datum 1.00 ft. (0.3048 m) lower.
    REMARKS - Public water-supply pumpage, about 1,000 ft (305 m) upstream from the station, influences low flow discharges.
    WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
    PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1968 to September 2012.  Discontinued.
    EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SEDIMENT CONCENTRATIONS: Maximum daily mean, 8,370 mg/L September 15, 2004; minimum daily mean, 3 mg/L several days during several years. SEDIMENT LOADS: Maximum daily mean, 232,000 tons (210,500 tonnes) September 15, 2004; minimum daily mean, 0.09 ton (0.08 tonne) July 12, 2003.
    EXTREMES FOR CURRENT YEAR - FOR WATER YEAR 2007: SEDIMENT CONCENTRATIONS: Maximum daily mean, 1,110 mg/L October 19, 2006; minimum daily mean, 3 mg/L several days. SEDIMENT LOADS: Maximum daily mean, 1,420 tons (1,290 tonnes) October 19, 2006; minimum daily mean, 0.18 ton (0.16 tonne) June 22, 2007.
