50043800 RIO DE LA PLATA AT COMERIO, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°13'19.77", long 66°13'28.63" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Comerio Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, on right bank 50 ft (15 m) upstream from bridge of State Road 167 in the town of Comerío, 0.4 mi (0.6 km) southwest of Comerío High School, and 0.2 mi (0.3 km) northeast of Comerío plaza.
DRAINAGE AREA - 117 mi². (303 km2) includes 8.2 mi² (21.2 km2) upstream of Lago Carite, previously excluded.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Datum change in 2000 water year reflected in peak flow file. Updated peak gage height and discharge that occurred on a different date in 2011 water year. 

Drainage area revised in 2021 based on ArcHydro 2020, more detailed topo used.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1988 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 620 ft (189 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map, since September 29, 1999 at datum 2.2 ft higher.
REMARKS - Low flow could be affected by releases from a Water Filtration plant located about 500 ft (0.152 km) upstream from station.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2016 to current year. 
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket precipitation gage and data collection platform – 15 minutes interval.
