LOCATION - Lat 18°18'05.05", long 66°13'42.89" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Naranjito Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005,

at right bank 1.1 mi (2.1 km) east of Naranjito plaza, 0.9 mi (1.4 km) west from intersection of State Roads 167 and 164 at km 1.77, and 2.6 mi (4.2 km) northwest from Represa Comerío.

For more precise location of site use the following coordinates: Lat 18°17'57"N, Long 66°13'42"W.

DRAINAGE AREA - 8.06 mi². (22.3 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY - Peak gage height and discharge removed in 2001 water year due to incomplete year of data collection.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 216.55 ft. (66.00 m) above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02). Elevation or datum of gage was previously reported as 229 ft. (69.8 m) above mean sea level and NGVD 29 and was established via topographic map and a new GNSS survey was used to establish a PRVD02 datum because the topographic datum did not meet the ne accuracy requirements.
REMARKS - Low-flow affected by discharges from Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) waste water treatment plant.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge, 12,000 ft³/s, Sept. 20, 2017, gage height, 17.68 ft. Minimum discharge, 0.19 ft³/s, May 23, 2023.
