50051310 RIO CAYAGUAS AT CERRO GORDO, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°09'13.91", long 65°57'24.14" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, San Lorenzo Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, at downstream side of bridge on State Road 912 at Barrio Cerro Gordo and 2.8 mi (4.5 km) south of San Lorenzo.
DRAINAGE AREA - 10.1 mi². (26.4 km2).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1977 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage, satellite telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 499.4 ft (152.2 m) above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02). Prior to October 1, 1983, at site 2,000 ft (610 m) downstream at different datum. Elevation or datum of gage was previously reported as 525 ft (160 m) above mean sea level and NGVD of 1929 and was established via topographic map and a new GNSS survey was used to establish a PRVD02 datum because the topographic map datum did not meet the new accuracy requirements. 
REMARKS - In past years commercial sand removal occurred at a location 100 ft (30.5 m) below gage, however it has not occurred since the 2009 water year.

INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket precipitation gage and data collection platform – 15 minutes interval.
