LOCATION - Lat 18°16'38.00", long 65°47'09.00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Naguabo Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, in Caribbean National Forest at State Road 191 at El Yunque, 1.6 mi (2.6 km) upstream from confluence with Río Cubuy, 2.8 mi (4.5 km) north of Bo. Florida, and 5.3 mi (8.5 km) northwest of Naguabo plaza.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1.26 mi². (3.26 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WDR PR-02-1: 1995-2001 (M).

Revisions: The maximum gage height and discharge for water years 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2012 were revised on Dec. 5, 2019, based on updated maximum gage height values.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1945 to March 1953; operated by the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewage Authority (PRASA), annual maximum. Water years 1953-1962; annual low-flow measurements, 1962-1966, October 1979 to September 30, 2006, October 2008 to current year. Prior to October 1979 operated by the former Puerto Rico Water Resources Authority (PWRA) now the Puerto Rico Electric and Power Authority (PREPA), at different datum.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage and sharp-crested weir, satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 2,020 ft (616 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2016 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket precipitation gage and data collection platform – 15 minutes interval.
