50092000 RIO GRANDE DE PATILLAS NEAR PATILLAS, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°02'03", long 66°01'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Patillas Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, on left bank, at old foot bridge abutment off State Road 184, 1.2 mi (1.9 km) upstream from Lago Patillas Dam, and 2.2 mi (3.5 km) northwest of Patillas.
DRAINAGE AREA - 18.3 mi². (47.4 km2).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1959 to October 1965; annual low flow and occasional measurements only. January 1, 1966 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 227.3 ft. (69.3 m) above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02). Elevation or datum was previously reported as 235 ft. (72 m) above mean sea level and NGVD 29 and was established via topographic map and a new GNSS survey was used to establish a PRVD02 datum because the topographic datum did not meet the new accuracy requirements.
