LOCATION - Lat 18°02'39.26", long 66°47'53.39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Penuelas Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, on left bank, 0.7 mi (1.1 km) north of junction of Highway 2 and State Road 132, 0.6 mi (1 km) downstream from Quebrada Consejo, and 1.8 mi (2.9 km) north-northwest from Guayanilla plaza.
DRAINAGE AREA - 18.9 mi². (49 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Peak gage height and discharge for the 2013 water year were revised on Nov. 5, 2019, based on a high water mark surveyed on Oct. 30, 2012.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1, 1981 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 59.2 ft. (18.0 m) above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02). Elevation or datum of gage was previously reported as 80 ft. (24 m) above mean sea level and NGVD 29 and was established via topographic map and a new GNSS survey was used to establish a PRVD02 datum because the topographic datum did not meet the new accuracy requirements.
