50126150 RIO YAUCO ABOVE DIVERSION MONSERRATE NEAR YAUCO, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°02'57.10", long 66°50'30.71" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Yauco Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, on right bank off State Road 375, about 300 ft (91 m) upstream from diversion Monserrate, 0.1 mi (0.2 km) downstream from Quebrada de las Quebradas, 0.9 mi (1.4 km) downstream from Río Duey, and 1 mi (1.6 km) northeast of Yauco plaza.
DRAINAGE AREA - 32.1 mi². (83.0 km2) includes upstream of Lago Lucchetti, previously excluded.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Peak gage height and discharge removed in 1985 water year due to incomplete year of data collection. 2017 water year peak gage height and discharge updated.

Drainage area revised in 2021 based on ArcHydro 2020, more detailed topo used.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1976 to January 1985, October 2002 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 115 ft (35 m), above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to October 2002, gage at datum 2.9 ft lower.
REMARKS - Flow affected by numerous diversions into and out of the basin.
