LOCATION.--Lat 42°33'08.5", long
73°35'26.1" referenced to North American Datum of
1983, Rensselaer County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020006, on left
bank about 250 ft upstream from bridge on Krouner Road, and 2.7
mi northeast of Nassau.
DRAINAGE AREA.--9.48 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1990 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--Datum of gage was revised on July 23, 2024, from 429.20 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 to 429.88 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, due to an updated geodetic survey.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, concrete control, and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 429.88 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Water Years 2014-23: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,670 ft³/s, July 14, 2021, gage height, 8.93 ft, from rating curve extended above 370 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow; minimum discharge, 0.07 ft³/s, Aug. 4, 1999, Sept. 27, 2010; minimum gage height, 0.72 ft, Aug. 29, 30, 2022.
