LOCATION.--Lat 43°56'23.4", long 73°57'13.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Essex County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020001, on right bank 0.1 mi upstream of confluence with Boreas River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--6.86 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 2014 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,740 ft above NAVD of 1988, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Water Year 2017: Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water Year 2018: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, about 261 ft³/s, Feb. 26, 2017, gage height, 7.77 ft (ice jam); minimum discharge, 1.3 ft³/s, July 22, 2018, gage height, 1.60 ft.
