NOTICE (10/01/2009) --As of June 30, 2009, data collection at this streamgage has been discontinued due to funding reductions from partner agencies. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected. Users who can contribute funding for the non-Federal share of costs to continue operation of this streamgage should contact the USGS New York Water Science Center . LOCATION.--Lat 42°19'58", long 74°29'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Delaware County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020005, on left bank 40 ft upstream from culvert on Johnson Hollow Road, and 2.0 mi south of Grand Gorge.
DRAINAGE AREA.--0.76 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 1999 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 1,760 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges and those below 1.0 ft3/s, which are poor. Satellite and telephone gage-height telemeter at station.
