March 1906 to June 1911, July 1911 to May
1914 (fragmentary, monthly discharge only for some periods, published
in WSP 1302), July 1928 to September 1968, annual maximum only--1984,
1988-2011, August 2011 to current year.
Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage
is 24.78 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to May 1914, at same site at
different datum, and 1928-1962 water years, at same site at datum 1.00
Diurnal fluctuation and considerable regulation at low
and medium flow caused by power plants above station.
Water Years 2014-16: Records fair except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are poor.

DISCHARGE: August 2011 to February 2014 (discontinued).
Turbidity data are collected every 15
minutes using an in situ turbidity probe located near the downstream
end of the central bridge pier directly across from the gage. Daily
suspended-sediment load and concentration are derived from a regression
equation relating turbidity to suspended-sediment concentration.
