Occasional regulation of storage in Upper and Lower
Ausable Lakes and occasional small diurnal fluctuation, cause
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--
Maximum discharge, 31,500 ft³/s,
Aug. 28, 2011, from rating curve extended above 13,900 ft³/s on basis
of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow at gage height 15.22 ft;
maximum gage height, 18.51 ft, from floodmark in gage house; minimum
discharge observed, 20 ft³/s, Aug. 11, 14, 28, 1934.
