GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 950.00 ft above
NGVD of 1929 and 949.60 above NAVD of 1988 (VERTCON).
REMARKS.--Slight diversion from upstream tributaries into Mohawk
River basin for operation of Erie (Barge) Canal.
Water Year 2014: Records good except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are fair.
Water Years 2015-17: Records fair except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 14,100 ft³/s,
Sept. 8, 2011, gage height, 21.76 ft; minimum discharge, 46 ft³/s,
Sept. 4, 14, 18, 2012; minimum gage height, 6.46 ft, Sept. 26,
2016.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of June 28, 2006,
reached a stage of 22.51 ft, from floodmarks approximately 500 ft
downstream of gage, discharge not determined.
