The 15-minute precipitation data for this station are temporaryand will only be displayed for 120 days. Although the instrumentation is calibrated at least once/year, the temporary classification means that documented routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies.

NOTICE (08/01/2017) -- This station is unfunded as of October 1, 2017. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected unless one or more new funding partners are found. LOCATION.--Lat 42°54'00", long 76°10'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Onondaga County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 04140201, on left bank 10 ft upstream from bridge on State Highway 20, 0.7 mi west of Tully Farms Road, 1.6 mi northwest of Cardiff, and 2.2 mi upstream from Onondaga Reservoir.
DRAINAGE AREA.--33.9 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2001 to current year.
GAGE.--Acoustic velocity meter, water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 487.10 ft above NGVD of 1929 (VERTCON) and 486.62 ft above NAVD of 1988. From Apr. 9, 2004 to May 13, 2005, at site 1.1 mi upstream at datum about 15 ft higher, from topographic map.
Water Years 2014-16: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, about 1,070 ft³/s, Apr. 3, 2005; maximum gage height, 8.85 ft, Aug. 30, 2004, from floodmark, site and datum then in use; minimum daily discharge, 3.8 ft³/s, Sept. 14, 2002. Maximum and minimum instantaneous discharges not determined.
