03267900 Mad River at St Paris Pike at Eagle City, OH LOCATION.-- Lat 39°57'51", long 83°49'54", Clark County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05080001, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on St. Paris Pike, 0.8 mi southeast of Eagle City, 1.1 mi downstream from Moore Run, 3.1 mi upstream from Buck Creek, 3.3 mi south of Tremont City, and at mile 29.5. DRAINAGE AREA.-- 310 mi2. PERIOD OF RECORD.-- October 1965 to September 1995, October 1998 to current year. REVISED RECORDS.-- WRD-OH-88-1: 1987(P). REMARKS.-- Recharge to well field largely by induced infiltration from Mad River and Moore Run. Pumpage averaging 19.6 ft3/s in 2012, is returned as treated wastewater 1.4 mi upstream from gaging station near Springfield (station 03269500). Water-quality data formerly collected at this site. EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.-- Flood in Mar. 1913, reached a stage of 19.8 ft, from data furnished by Miami Conservancy District. Flood of Jan. 21, 1959, reached a stage of 15.7 ft.
