03230700 Scioto River at Circleville, OH LOCATION.--Lat 39°36'05", long 82°57'19", Pickaway County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05060002, on right bank 100 ft. upstream from U.S. Highway 22 bridge, 0.9 miles downstream from Big Darby Creek, and 1,400 ft. downstream from Hargus Creek (600 W. Main St.). DRAINAGE AREA.--3,217 mi2. PERIOD OF RECORD.--Continuous discharge gage, October 1973 to September 1979, March 1, 2011 to current year, recording crest stage gage, October 2000 to February 2007. Gage height records collected in this vicinity since September 1915, are contained in reports of the National Weather Service. REVISED RECORDS.--WDR-OH-79-1: 74-78 (M). REMARKS.--Flow regulated by 5 reservoirs 38 mi to 62 mi upstream from station. Water-quality data formerly collected at this site.
