04185000 Tiffin River at Stryker, OH LOCATION.--Lat 41°30'16", long 84°25'47", Williams County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04100006, on left bank, 0.5 mi downstream from bridge on State Highway 191 at west edge of Stryker, 0.75 mi upstream from Penn Central Railroad bridge, and 1.5 mi downstream from Leatherwood Creek. DRAINAGE AREA.--410 mi2. PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 1921 to September 1928 (published as "near Stryker"), October 1940 to current year. REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1144: 1922-28. WSP 1387: 1925. WSP 1912: Drainage area. REMARKS.--Mean daily discharge of 3.2 ft3/s was diverted upstream of gage for municipal supply of Archbold. Diversion returned as treated waste water to Brush Creek, which flows into Tiffin River about 15 miles downstream from station. Water-quality and sediment data formerly collected at this site. EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood in Mar. 1913 reached a stage of 16.0 ft, from floodmarks; discharge, 7,600 ft3/s. Flood in 1937 reached a stage of 15.0 ft, from information by local resident; discharge, 6,000 ft3/s.
