STATION.--01460200 DELAWARE RIVER BELOW TOHICKON CREEK AT POINT PLEASANT, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`25'06", long 75`03'42", Bucks County, Hydrologic Unit 02040105, on right bank at Forest Park Water Company pump station, 0.2 mi downstream from Tohickon Creek and 0.4 mi southeast of Point Pleasant.
DRAINAGE AREA.--6,570 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 2000 to November 2014 (discontinued).
INSTRUMENTATION.--Probes interfaced with a data collection platform with 30-minute recording interval. Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Delaware River Basin Commission and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS.-- Most years data collection discontinued November through April. Water is typically pumped continuously from the river to a flow-through chamber; during periods when pump is not operational, data may not be representative of water quality in the river.
This station managed by the PAWSC Downingtown Field Office.
