Station gage imageSTATION.--01547100 SPRING CREEK AT MILESBURG, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`55'54", long 77`47'09", Centre County, Hydrologic Unit 02050204, on right bank, 100 ft west of State Highway 144.
DRAINAGE AREA.--142 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1967 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 696.42 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to November 6, 2008, water-stage recorder was located on left bank, 300 ft downstream, at same datum.
COOPERATION.---Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS.--Streamflow records indicate that some pumping may occur from the town of Bellefonte, upstream. Occasional regulation at low flow by fish hatchery and Rockview Penitentiary.

Supplied by USGS: Data transmitter operational limit - 16.0 ft;
Supplied by NWS: No flood stage has been determined for this station.
