STATION.--03039041 ALLEGHENY RIVER BELOW LOCK & DAM 5 NEAR FREEPORT, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`41'05", long 79`40'03", Armstrong County, Hydrologic Unit 05010006.
DRAINAGE AREA.--9,340 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2010 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 735.9 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to February 15, 2024, the datum of gage was reported as 736.4 ft or erroneously reported as 740 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 depending on source. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for this station provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
