Station gage imageSTATION.--01451650 LITTLE LEHIGH CREEK AT TENTH STREET BRIDGE AT ALLENTOWN, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`35"47', long 75`28'28", Lehigh County, Hydrologic Unit 02040106, on left bank at bridge on Tenth Street, and 0.9 mi upstream from confluence with Jordan Creek in Allentown, Pa.
DRAINAGE AREA.--98.2 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1986 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, water-quality monitor and concrete control. Datum of gage is 244.93 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to November 7, 2022, the datum of gage was reported as 245.63 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Diversion upstream for municipal water supply by city of Allentown. Monthly diversions were provided by the City of Allentown through Water Year 2016. Funding for the operation of the station is provided by the Lehigh County Authority.

Supplied by USGS: Maximum recordable gage height (stage sensor operational limit) - 18.8 ft;
Supplied by NWS: Action stage-6 ft; Flood stage-8 ft; Moderate flood stage-10 ft; Major flood stage-12 ft.
