STATION.--412823079030601 FOREST COUNTY, local well number FO 11
LOCATION.--Lat 41`28'24.5", long 79`03'03.0", Hydrologic Unit 05010005, in Allegheny National Forest.
OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey.
AQUIFER.--Clarion Formation of Middle Pennsylvanian age.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation well, diameter 6 in., depth 110 ft, cased to 23 ft, open hole.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with 60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,779 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from Lidar. Measuring point: Top of casing, 1.40 ft above land-surface datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1973 to current year.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
