STATION.--03021520 FRENCH CREEK NEAR UNION CITY, PA.
LOCATION.--Lat 41`54'28", long 79`53'49", Erie County, Hydrologic Unit 05010004.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1909 to S eptember 1991; October 2005 to September 2009, discharge measurements only; 2010 to current year, continuous discharge record.
DRAINAGE AREA.--221 square miles.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and heated tipping bucket precipitation gage. Datum of gage is 1,191.16 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry atstation.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
REMARKS.--Flood flow regulated since October 1971 by Union City Reservoir, 0.9 miles upstream.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
