LOCATION - Lat 39°49'47", long 80°26'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Greene County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05030106, On left bank of stream at bridge of Fairview Road, which intersects Aleppo Rd.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2014 to April 2017.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1040 feet above National Vertical Datum of 1988 (from topographic map).
COOPERATION - Site established and maintained by U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2015 are fair, except those for discharges greater than 220 cfs, less than 1 cfs and estimated daily values of discharge which are poor. Records for water year 2016 are fair, except those for discharges greater than 220 cfs, less than 1 cfs and estimated daily values of discharge which are poor.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August, 2014 to April 2017.
INSTRUMENTATION - Self-logging thermistor coupled with a submersible stage sensor.
REMARKS - For water years 2014 and 2015, records for water temperature are rated good. For water year 2016, records for water temperature are rated good.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum instantaneous water temperature, 27.5° C, August 13, 2016. Minimum instantaneous water temperature, 0.0°C, several occurrences in winter months.
