LOCATION - Lat 18°28'31.59", long 67°07'20.74" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Aguadilla Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, 1.66 mi (2.672 km) northeast from Aguadilla plaza, 1.60 mi (2.575 km) northwest from Ceiba Alta church, and 1.55 mi (2.494 km) southwest from Arenales.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 29, 2005 to May 25, 2006; gage-height only. May 25, 2006 to February 13, 2013; field measurements only; discontinued.
GAGE - Elevation of gage is approximately 269 ft (82.0 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Channel overflows after 2.65 ft (0.808 m) and 73 ft³/s (2.07 m3/s). No gage-height discharge relation defined after this level. Flow regulated by Lago Ramey operated by the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA), for irrigation purposes.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 48 ft³/s (1.36 m3/s), July 25, 2007, gage height, 2.36 ft (0.719 m); minimum daily discharge, no flow for many days.
