REMARKS - Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically. The lake is formed by a rolled earthfill dam 4,055 ft long. The dam was completed and deliberate impoundment began in Mar. 1957. The original service spillway was a semi-circular drop inlet with a crest length of 162 ft located 550 ft to the right of the pumphouse. The drop inlet discharges into a 9 x 9 ft concrete conduit that extends 425 ft under the dam. The emergency spillway is an uncontrolled excavated split-level cut channel located at the right end of the dam. In 1993 the service spillway was modified to repair flood damages and increase the overall spillway capacity. The dam crest was raised 3 ft to elevation 917 ft above msl. A new service spillway inlet consisting of a four-fingered radial labyrinth crest was constructed and connected to the existing 9- ft square discharge conduit. The crest of this service spillway is at 896 ft above msl. The second stage emergency spillway channel at 906 ft was widened to a total length of 1,400 ft. The low-flow outlet works consist of an 18 in diameter concrete pipe with a valve control assembly. Data regarding the dam are given in the following table:
                                                                              Elevation (feet)
