> Site Information
LOCATION.--Lat 41°35'45.4", long 74°28'05.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sullivan County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, on right bank on downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 209, 2.0 mi downstream from confluence of South Brook and Primrose Brook, 0.7 mi upstream from mouth, and 1.6 mi northeast of Wurtsboro.
DRAINAGE AREA.--10.3 mi².  
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 2019 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 563.67 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Water Years 2020-21: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 793 ft³/s, Sept. 1, 2021, gage height, 8.32 ft; minimum discharge, 1.51 ft³/s, Sept. 26, 27, 2020, gage height, 5.08 ft; minimum gage height, 5.05 ft, Aug. 1, 2, 2020.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD1.--WATER TEMPERATURE: December 2019 to current year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: December 2019 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION1.--A continuous water-quality monitor with water temperature and specific conductance provides 15-minute-interval readings.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD1.--SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 174 uS/cm at 25°C, June 19, 2020; minimum, 19 uS/cm at 25°C, Sept. 2, 2021. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 21.5 °C, July 12, 27, 2020; minimum, 0.0 °C on many days during winter periods.
