Due to a lapse in Federal funding, the U.S. Geological Survey must suspend those parts of its data collection and distribution processes requiring human intervention. However, automated reporting and serving of telemetered data will continue.
Users may note some degradation in the quality and completeness of real-time streamflow, groundwater and water-quality data from some reporting stations due to the suspension of field calibrations and adjustments, especially as high flows occur, aquatic vegetation becomes dominant, or ice forms in high altitude streams. The USGS will continue to monitor some performance aspects of its network using a skeleton workforce.

Notice to Users: Significant changes to the stream channel from a dam removal in November of 2012 required the relocation of this streamgage on April 11, 2013. The gage was moved to a new location about 380 feet downstream and the station datum was changed to 730.65 feet from a datum of 732.65 feet at the previous location. Please keep in mind that the gage height plus the station datum equals the elevation (NGVD29) of the water surface at the gaging station location. This gage has a history of location and datum changes. From October 1929 to July 23, 1953 the gage was located about 2.0 miles upstream of the current location at a datum of 738.00 feet. From July 24, 1953 to January 14, 2002 the gage was located about 1.85 miles upstream of the current location at a datum of 738.00 feet..
