LOCATION - Lat 47°21'28", long 124°11'04" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.34, T.22 N., R.12 W., Grays Harbor County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17100102, on left bank, 5 mi northeast of Taholah, 1.0 mi downstream of Mount Creek and at mile 8.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 412 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2017 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 26.23 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Flow affected by natural storage in Quinault Lake. No diversions upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 47,600 ft³/s Nov. 16, 2021, gage height, 16.60 ft; minimum discharge, 320 ft³/s, Sept. 18, 2023, gage height 1.39 ft.

INSTRUMENTATION - Water temperature probe interfaced with a Data Collection Platform/Electronic Datalogger, with 15-min recording interval, since December 2017.
