LOCATION - Lat 46°39'58.25", long 117°26'28.92" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.29, T.14 N., R.43 E., Whitman County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17060107, on right bank 0.6 mi below Lower Granite Dam on the Snake River, 12.5 mi southwest of the town of Pullman, at mile 106.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2009 to current year. Data from 1995 to September 2003 are available from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla office, and data from October 2003 to September 2009 are available at the U.S. Geological Survey Kennewick Field Office.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2009 to current year. TOTAL DISSOLVED GAS: October 2009 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water quality monitor since 1995, with a 1-hour logging interval since 2003.
REMARKS -
The USACE manages spill levels for fish passage to avoid exceeding 120% total dissolved gas (TDG) in project tailraces, and 115% TDG in the forebay of the next project downstream consistent with the current percent TDG limits.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD -

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 21.7°C, August 4 2021; Minimum, 1.1°C, Jan. 13, 2017.

TOTAL DISSOLVED GAS: Maximum, 141 percent saturation, Sept. 14, 2013; Minimum, 94 percent saturation, many days.
